Coaraze

Coaraze is a perched village also known as one of the most sunny village of the Nice countryside. With its medieval aspect, narrow and paved streets, volted gateways and old stone houses, Coaraze is a peaceful worthy village.

Coaraze enjoys exceptional hours of sunshine. In 1959, the town council wished to enhance this caracteritic to give the village a special identity. The idea of sundials was the launched, followed by artists such  Jean Cocteau, Henri Goetz, Valentin. Today, there are eleven sundials in the village.
